This afternoon found my children and I in downtown Edmonton at the Citadel Theatre. We were waiting to see a play when we stumbled across the St. Albert street pianos that had been designed and created this summer to be placed in various areas of St. Albert for the public to enjoy. These pianos had been repaired, tuned and donated by Don’s Piano Warehouse in St. Albert (where I purchased my own beautiful Hailun baby grand!) and then decorated by three local artists. They had been brought in out of the cold to the Citadel Theatre to be enjoyed by Edmontonians during the run of the play “2 Pianos 4 Hands”.

Imagine our delight to find these pianos upon our arrival at the theatre with a sign saying “play me”! There were three placed throughout the Citadel, but this one was my favorite as those of you who know me well know that two of my most favorite things are sunflowers and pianos! I just wanted to take this one home in my pocket! 😉
